lurkin: Thanks so much for your reply to my datum query. That was easy!

Alas, it did not fix the issue: I have downloaded the map from MapSource to the unit and the unit does not display the map! I have worked through the all the menus. The 'Show Map' checkbox in the Map Information part of the Map Setup Folder is checked. So if it not the datum ... what have I done wrong?

    Hi Brian,
Hmmmm... something went wrong during the installation I reckon.
Where did you install the map? On the unit itself (internal memory) or on a microSD card? If you installed on a microSD card, did you format it prior to the installation? The microSD card needs to be formatted using the FAT32 system in order to work.
Also, the max size of a microSD card which 60CSx is able to recognize is 4GB.

I got a 60CSx myself and it work flawlessly with this map.
    Best wishes

    Hi Brian,

I have some experience of "no map" when you didn't place yourself within map area. Can you try to go to GPS signal page and select "GPS OFF" then select "New Location" from menu and set your new location to somewhere in Vietnam or Laos? If it is the same issue as I had before, it should display the map. If you still can not see the map, it must be a different issue. If you could see the map, you can actually see the map when you go to map coverage area. Please don't forget to enable GPS after this test.

    best regards,

    Ryo
