R7 is still the latest map. Do you have any requests of the enhancement? (Coverage area etc.)

Last tryout the map on bike trip in Cambodia. Still many missing road in the hillside area after Siam Riep. Overrall - Good. End of year going again.
Hope to get the update version before going.

If roads are missing why didn't you record tracklogs of the missing parts and contributed them to be implemented onto the map instead of whining?
No one said that the map is complete and perfect.

What datum is the map is. I use my garmin in the US and will be traveling to Lao. I seem to recall that I had to change the datum when I test loaded the map on the unit but now I can't find the map in the screen. I'd hate to get to Lao and not have the map!

All our maps are WGS84 datum based.

Is this map support with my garmin 255w?

lurkin: Thanks so much for your reply to my datum query. That was easy!

Alas, it did not fix the issue: I have downloaded the map from MapSource to the unit and the unit does not display the map! I have worked through the all the menus. The 'Show Map' checkbox in the Map Information part of the Map Setup Folder is checked. So if it not the datum ... what have I done wrong?
