Attached is a tracklog from this morning, the roads around this area are being developed rapidly, many are near completion. Eventually all will link up to the new highway running from the Hanoi Highway through to the new tunnel under the Saigon River. I will do tracklogs as I can, most of the new highway is finished, I'll ride down it as far as possible next time.

Thanks for posting the new route. What is the name of the road between Tran Nao and Luong Dinh Cua? This road was not on the R6 map and completed to draw on the map but it has no name yet. Can you tell me one more thing? Was it one way street or both ways?

Went out this morning and re-tracked the part of the road you were interested in. It's actually an extension to and from the new East West Highway to the Thu Thiem Bridge, it has no name. Where I placed the waypoint with the red flag is where I did a u-turn on the new highway. I'll have a go at tracking the new highway, it's mostly finished.
Thank you very much for the following up my question. I made a update for the base map according to your tracklog. It seems to be Quan 2 is pretty rural area compared to the other side of the river. If you find any major roads which missing on R6 map, please let me know. I will update the map as soon as possible with your tracklog. It is too bad that I am not going to HCM on my next trip. I would love to drink beer with you.
